Eastern Cape Youth Athletics Championships

On 7-10 March the Eastern Cape Youth Athletics Championships was held in Port Elizabeth. Aaron Lombard competed in u/17 shotput and discus. In discus he broke the Eastern Cape Championship record of 48,86m with a new distance of 50,55m thus earning gold. In an extreme storm and wet conditions he managed to earn first place in the shotput too.

It is our aim to develop, or help develop, a well-balanced individual, with the ability to apply the values he/she has acquired in the daily classroom situation. We strive to perform our duty in the knowledge that we are shaping young people who will, in the future, carry the responsibility for the survival of our nation. This demands the development of all aspects of the child’s being – namely academic, cultural, religious and sporting.
