The Spring (Chicken) Dance at KEHS

Last week Thursday, King Edward High School held a Spring Dance for their SP’s. All were dressed in bright colours to mark the arrival of spring and the excitement levels were high. The proceedings started with dinner – vetkoeke and juice to fill the tummies. Then it was time for the festivities!

Then the gate-crashers arrived: a chicken, three bees, and a wolf! The educators opened the dance floor with the never-ending Chicken Dance song much to the enjoyment and surprise of the learners. Thereafter all enjoyed the music, tapped their feet and requested favourite dance music. All-in-all, a wonderful evening was had by all.
