Eisteddfod

On August 19, a group of King Edward students went to Port Shepstone to participate in the Hibiscus Eisteddfod hosted by Creston College. The students presented their poems and songs to the adjudicators and enjoyed the positive feedback given to them after each performance. The students walked away with bronze, silver and gold certificates in the various categories. Rebecca De Burgh received two gold certificates in the Poetry and Vocal Solo categories. The students enjoyed the experience and are looking forward to participating in more Eisteddfods in the future.

Vision

It is our aim to develop, or help develop, a well-balanced individual, with the ability to apply the values he/she has acquired in the daily classroom situation. We strive to perform our duty in the knowledge that we are shaping young people who will, in the future, carry the responsibility for the survival of our nation. This demands the development of all aspects of the child’s being – namely academic, cultural, religious and sporting.
