KEHS Interhouse Gala
On 13 February, we enjoyed our annual interhouse gala. As always, it was an exciting day with lots of spirit! The winning house was Graham in both the primary and high school. The trophies were awarded to the following high school swimmers: Victor Ludorum – Lesiba Mmamogobo, Victrix Ludorum – Jené Niehaus, Junior Victrix Ludorum – Robyn du Randt and Junior Victor Ludorum – Kandro Phillips & Frankie Kok. In the primary school the following swimmers received the trophies: Victor Ludorum – Angus James, Victrix Ludorum – Clinae Strydom, Junior Victor Ludorum – Franco Marx and Junior Victrix Ludorum – Lana Enslin.

HS Tennis vs SPC
Our high school tennis team played against St Patricks on Tuesday, 14 February and won 33/12.
U11 Cricket vs SPC
On Wednesday, 15 February, KEHS won the toss and elected to bat first. We made 50 runs for the loss of 8 wickets after 20 overs. The best batsman was Zander Barnard. St Patrick's then batted, reaching our score within 11 overs. St Patrick's won the match by 7 wickets. The boys played well and enjoyed playing the match.
HS Interschool’s Gala
Our high school swimming team went to St. Patrick's College to compete in the annual inter-schools swimming gala on Thursday, 16 February. We were blessed to have favourable weather conditions and the gala was a great success. Our swimmers participated with gusto and they swam beautifully. St. Patrick's College and Kokstad College were formidable opponents and King Edward High School was placed second overall behind St. Patrick's College. Furthermore, Lesiba Mmamogobo from KEHS was the runner-up in the open boys’ category.
JP & SP Valentine’s Ball
As always, our JP & SP learners enjoyed the annual Valentine’s Ball! The continuous rain could not dampen their excitement and they thoroughly enjoyed the evening, from dressing up and dancing with their friends, to eating pizzas! Congratulations to Daniel Steyn and Layla Thurston who were crowned as Senior Mr and Ms Valentine, as well as Azoma Mkolokotho and Tahirah Moeketsi as Junior Mr and Ms Valentine.
