Gr 7 Entrepreneurs’ Day
On Tuesday, our Grade 7 learners surpassed all expectations with their Entrepreneurs’ Day. It was a colourful, cheerful and very “sweet” occasion and the shoppers had difficulty deciding how to spend their money. All their profits will be very useful as spending money for the highly anticipated annual 10-day Gr 7 tour to the Western Cape.

Gr R’s visit Modern Butchery
Our Grade R learners loved their visit to Modern Butchery Meat Factory on Wednesday, 13 September. From the first bus ride for many, to tasting yummy viennas and cheese grillers, all was thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated. Sbu’, our tour guide, did an excellent job. They showed us how a beef carcass was cut up and demonstrated how sausages were made and smoked. We are grateful to Modern Butchery for accommodating forty-five very eager and excited little ones.

Boys’ Hockey
Last week, our JP and SP hockey boys had a number of matches against KPS, KJS and St Mary’s. Our u/7 and u/9 teams lost their matches, however, the u/8A team drew against KJS but beat KPS, and the u/8B team beat KJS but lost against KPS.
Our u/13’s beat KPS and drew against St Mary’s and KJS, but the u/11 team lost their games.
Girls’ Soccer
On Tuesday, our 1st team girls’ soccer enjoyed a convincing 12-0 win against Bergview. Our JP soccer girls travelled to KPS for their fixtures on Thursday. Our u/7 teams lost 0-1 and won 1-0, the u/8 teams lost 1-3 and won 1-0 and our u/9’s lost 1-5 and drew 3-3.
