Senior Primary Prize-giving - 2023

On Thursday, 26 October, we held our annual SP Prize-giving where we rewarded the learners for their hard work and dedication. It was a pleasant affair with many prizes, beautiful singing and choral items.

The grade positions were as follows:

Grade 4:

3rd - Daniel Abraham
2nd - Taitum Naude
1st - Franco Marx

Grade 5:

3rd - Zander Barnard
2nd - Maruzé Needham
1st - Lana Enslin

Grade 6:

3rd - Sinelizwi Skemane
2nd - Tanatswa Nyathi
1st - Avuyile Ntabeni

Grade 7:

3rd - Onalerona Machaea
2nd - Miné Enslin
1st - Daniel Steyn

Girls’ Hockey Player of the Year: Mieke Jacobs and Hayley Viviers
Rugby Player of the Year: Daniel Steyn and Khumo Qhu.
Netball Player of the Year: Ophola Sonjica
Cricket Player of the Year: Ngcali Matheza
Soccer Player of the Year: Lutho Zenzele
Boys’ Hockey Player of the Year: Tariq O’Reilly and Daniel Steyn
Best Boy Athlete: Khumo Qhu
Best Girl Athlete: Hayley Viviers
Best Boy Sportsperson: Ngcali Matheza
Best Girl Sportsperson: Mieke Jacob
Best Sporting Achievement: Ovayo Diko
James Freemantle Award for Good Fellowship: Daniel Steyn

The announcement of the monitors for 2024 was awaited with great anticipation. The head monitors are Talia Aarons and Avuyile Ntabeni.

They will be assisted by Clinae Strydom and Bokamoso Khiba as deputy head monitors. The monitors are: Clinné Anandham, Refiloe Diaho, Emmanuel Duba, Kiara Laing, Sefika Lekena, Kungawo Maphumulo, Zamakhesa Matubatuba, Bothwell Mhlanga, Hope Moeti, Hlelo Ndawonde, Sinikelo Ndiki, Luzuko Ngcizela, Tanatswa Nyathi, Owam Sigabi, Mihle Sijeku, Sinelizwi Skemane, Lukho Sobantu, Tumelo Tsabo, Juan van Niekerk and Jalynn Vezasie.
