As is the custom, KEHS travelled to Kokstad College on Saturday, 22 April, for our annual sports derby. The day saw us competing in Netball, Rugby and Hockey.

The KEHS rugby boys were very successful. Under heavy pressure, our boys held composure and stuck to their game plan. Our focus was aimed at playing the game with calm determination, focusing on the challenges as they arose. This approach served us very well as we were victorious in the u/14, u/16 and first team games. We are proud of our school, and so proud of our KEHS rugby boys.

Our Hockey and Netball girls made us equally proud as they showcased their determination and sportsmanship. The first hockey team lost narrowly 0-1, while the u/16 girls won their match 2-0.

Moving courtside, our first netball team lost 15-30, while the u/16’s put on a fine show and won comfortably 21-15.
