Gr 7 Monitors’ & Gr 12 Prefects’ Camp

Our Gr 7 Monitors and Gr 12 Prefects attended a leadership camp at Drakensville from 11 - 14 February. Through various challenges such as target shooting, stalk the lantern, zip-lining, raft building, hiking and an obstacle race, they had to solve problems and learn how to work together as a group, focusing on endurance and respect for each other. They also had the privilege of an informative visit to Eskom’s Tugela-Vaal hydroelectricity scheme. It is an incredible experience to visit a power station built entirely underground.
