Gr 12 Hamlet Production
On 27 February, our Grade 12 students enjoyed a captivating live performance of Hamlet at the Elizabeth Sneddon Theatre in Durban. The well-executed production enhanced their understanding of Shakespearean literature, providing a unique and enriching experience. The excursion fostered social bonding, leaving a lasting impact on both academic and personal growth.

Mini Cricket
Our mini cricket boys enjoyed matches against KPS last week. Our u/7 and u/8 teams lost their games but the u/9 team won. These matches were good preparation for the KEHS Mini Cricket Festival which was held on Saturday. Four neighbouring schools joined in the fun, and the results were as follows: u/7 KEHS 1 lost to SPC, u/7 KEHS 2 beat KJS 1, lost to KJS 2, and beat Focused School, u/8 KEHS 1 lost to KJS 1 but beat BVC 1, u/8 KEHS 2 lost to KJS 2 and beat BVC 2, u/9 KEHS 1 beat Focused and KJS 1, u/9 KEHS 2 beat BVC. Thank you to all the schools who travelled to KEHS to participate in our Mini Cricket Festival.
Bergview College 7’s Tournament
The annual Bergview College 7’s Tournament saw our u/16 rugby team crowned as the winners in their age group. Junior Mncadi was selected as the player of the tournament.

1st Netball & Girls’ Hockey
On Saturday, our 1st girls’ hockey team and 1st netball team travelled to Suid Natal to participate in their Sports Festival. The teams made us proud and performed well despite very hot weather conditions. Our netball team won three out of four games and proceeded to the semi-finals where they lost to Port Shepstone High. They then beat Suid Natal 2, placing them third overall.
